Firms, typically, use a variety of tools and processes that require time and money, from the purchase of a tool and the training one must take for it up to its integration into the processes of a firm. These tools, such as one that handles Tax Form expiration dates or task organization, are necessary for different functionalities and also require maintenance. Wouldn't it be better to have an app that has all the tools a firm needs in one place? This would save additional costs and time, and improve the organization of a firm.
Because of this, and as part of our commitment to integrate the latest technological advances, improve the user experience, facilitate processes, and keep all the tools in one place, Expert Tax has begun to migrate towards a Firm Practice Management Software.
Want to know what that is?
Practice Management System
A Practice Management System is the practice and management of a firm, whether small, medium, or large. A PMS encompasses all the necessary features, from automating repetitive tasks, organizing the services they offer, improving team collaboration, organizing task management and visibility, CRM, billing, and more.
Every firm works within an environment that is constantly evolving to facilitate processes and improve the organization of a business. That is why firms should adopt a Practice Management Software.
What does this mean for Expert Tax?
Expert Tax will Become a FPM Software
Expert Tax is going to evolve into a Practice Management Software. The program will continue to offer the preparation and filing of tax returns, and, moving forward, will include solutions that manage the organization of tasks and documents, communication between clients and their accountants for invoices and billing, advanced management of client information (CRM), workflow automation, and much more in the new platform redesign.
Seeking to improve customer service, the dynamics between teams, and to provide a suitable space to continue to grow as a platform, we have begun a phased migration process to integrate these new functionalities into the program gradually.
How Do We Ensure a Successful Transformation?
Expert Tax expects to launch the first phase in the first quarter of next year, 2024, which will include tools that meet clients' current needs, such as the Due Dates subscription, the first product under the new PM System responsible for improving task management and their due dates. In addition, Expert Tax complies with the SOC 2 Type II audit, which ensures that the platform continues its path toward becoming a successful Firm Practice Management Software.
Other updates that will be part of this first phase include:
- CRM. Functionality that is in charge of the administration of clients. It manages the relationships between clients and their accountants. It facilitates the organization of all data related to firms and their clients. You will be able to see due dates and tasks in progress.
- The main page will be redesigned. Expert Tax will update its design to have a more familiar and easy-to-understand interface for our clients.
This transformation will benefit every user of the platform; You will have the necessary tools to organize customer data and the projects attached to them. Everything related to taxes within the program is expected to be updated, from its creation to its processing, following a plan organized by phases.
Can you imagine what it would be like if your firm had all the tools they need in one place? Soon you will be able to benefit from this with Expert Tax.
