Create Task
Click Create Task.
Fill the required fields and press Add Task.
To create the task, the following fields are required:

Task Board: A group that organizes users, task types, and tasks. Serves as the central workspace for managing related activities. (Required)

Task Type: A category that defines the specific kind of task, such as tax returns or internal processes. (Required)

Task Name: A concise and descriptive title that clearly indicates the purpose of the task. (Required)

Tax Year: The tax period applicable to a specific task. This field is required only for tasks related to tax returns. (Conditionally Required)

Due Date: The deadline by which the task must be completed to meet compliance or project goals. (Required)

Client: A dropdown list of clients sourced from the Expert Tax CRM, ensuring consistency and accuracy in client selection. (Required)

Assignee: The team member assigned primary responsibility for completing the task. (Required)

Stage: The current phase or step of the task within its workflow or process, such as "In Progress" or "Completed." (Required)

Collaborator: A user who supports the task by contributing expertise or effort but is not the primary responsible party.

Tags: Customizable keywords that help categorize, group, and quickly identify tasks.

Description: A detailed explanation outlining the task's purpose, requirements, or additional context to ensure clarity.
Edit Task
Click on the task id or double click on the task itself.
Once the overlay for the task has opened you can edit any of the following fields:

Task Name - A concise and descriptive title that clearly indicates the purpose of the task.

Comments – Written messages use to facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.

Activity - An audit trail of all actions that occur within task. (Not Editable)
Delete Task
Select the tasks that you would like to delete.
Press Delete at the top of the data grid.
