To convert a tax return from one tax year to another, the return for the previous year must already be created in the program.
🔄 Follow these steps to complete the conversion process:
1. Go to portal.experttax.com and select the Clients option.
2. Under Client Management, click Convert.
3. Select the taxpayer(s) whose returns you wish to convert and click Continue.
💡 Tip: Convert no more than 10 clients at a time to avoid errors during the process.
4. Choose the returns you want to convert and click Continue.
📝 Note: The program will only convert returns that exist in the client’s profile for the previous tax year.
💡 Additional Tips
Returns can only be converted between consecutive years (e.g., from 2023 to 2024).
Ensure that both years are enabled in your license.
